2010 PMC Conference

If you have started thinking about your summer plans for 2010 do consider attending the 4th Bi-Annual International PMC Conference. It will be held for the third time at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. The PMC Guild has noted the good, the bad and the ugly evaluations of past conferences and has added several new events and opportunities for 2010. See all of the current information about the conference at www.pmc-conference.com. Another plan to consider is to join PMC Connection for three days of Pre-conference classes. Check out all of the information for classes at (Click Here) and then call (toll-free) 1-866-762-2529 or fax your registration to 972-329-9751. If you prefer to register online go to (Click Here)

Announcing the "Enameling Hotline" By Patsy Croft

Visit www.alohilanidesigns.com where you can ask a question about an enameling project you may be having some trouble with, or post a project that you are proud of. You can even upload an image of your work.
"I'm very excited to start discussing enamel jewelry making with all of you. I hope this will turn out to be a great resource for all of us as we share our ideas, challenges, solutions, and finally our finished jewelry."

Febuary Projects

In an effort to bring added value to PMC123 clients and e-newsletter subscribers we offer two virtual classes each month. Currently the classes are in a “Step-by-step” format with text and photo images detailing each step along the way. One class is a fun, easy, relatively straight-forward class that is, I’ve found, appropriate for beginners. This is a completely FREE, downloadable class. The second virtual class typically is a bit more “meaty”, presents a project with a twist, or otherwise offers up a technique that is more advanced. This virtual class is a “Pay per view”, i.e. there is a fee to download.

Though all of the virtual classes are © by Sherry Fotopoulos, we hope you will use them not only for your own enjoyment but that you might add them to your personal repertoire of classes that you teach. Everyone has a slightly different take on any given project so you are invited to add your tweak and present any of the techniques. Should you wish to copy a download(s) for handouts, we ask only that you include credit where credit is due. This month’s offerings are:
