New Feature --- New Gift

PMC123 recently added a new feature to the website (www.pmc123.com). It’s a flash feature and one of the items it “flashes” is that we are including a gift with each order that totals $150.00 (excluding shipping/handling) or more. The gift is quite nice…a 3-piece set of mini pliers. They are solid steel construction, with lap hinges, return springs and coated handles. The set includes round-nose, chain-nose and flat-nose pliers, each 3” overall length. This set makes a great gift for your pals who travel or for those who need just a little help at a show.

November Projects

In an effort to bring added value to PMC123 clients and e-newsletter subscribers we offer two virtual classes each month. Currently the classes are in a “Step-by-step” format with text and photo images detailing each step along the way. One class is a fun, easy, relatively straight-forward class that is, I’ve found, appropriate for beginners. This is a completely FREE, downloadable class. The second virtual class typically is a bit more “meaty”, presents a project with a twist, or otherwise offers up a technique that is more advanced. This virtual class is a “Pay per view”, i.e. there is a fee to download.
Though all of the virtual classes are © by Sherry Fotopoulos, we hope you will use them not only for your own enjoyment but that you might add them to your personal repertoire of classes that you teach. Everyone has a slightly different take on any given project so you are invited to add your tweak and present any of the techniques. Should you wish to copy a download(s) for handouts, we ask only that you include credit where credit is due. This month’s offerings are:

Knock, knock!! Opportunity here!

I’ve just learned that Cynthia DuBose will be teaching the Level One Certification Workshop in New Orleans on 21-22 November 2009.  That’s the Saturday and Sunday before Thanksgiving.  AND there are four places still open in that class.  You can contact Cynthia by email at Cynthia@phattphaneez.com or by phone at 979-549-5162.  When I spoke with Cynthia she said that she would be willing to stay two more days and teach either the 2-day Level 2 Certification workshop or a couple of her fabulous one-day workshops.  The one-day workshops include “Chrysanthemum Ring” and “Keeper of the Nectar” which she will be teaching at two mini-retreats in early 2010.  So, all of you who are in the area or would like to visit New Orleans in the beautiful month of November should act quickly to reserve place(s) in Cynthia’s classes.  For more information take a peek at www.phattphaneez.com.

Looking for a way to put the perfect square wire edge on your piece? Want to add a beautiful round edge without rolling a tiny coil? Can’t seem to find tips for special effects? PMC123.com brings you the answer to these questions and more. Our 6-pc Syringe Tip Set includes 3 color-coded tips---a blue tip (24ga round), a green tip (20ga round), and a gray tip (18ga round)--to compliment the pink tip (22ga round) that comes with metal clay syringes. The set also has 3 tips with dk. green bodies and stainless steel, SHAPED extruding tips. The flat/ribbon tip will lay down anything from a smooth strip approx. 3mmx1mm to ruffles and bows! The square tip extrudes a perfectly square line approx. 1.5mmx1.5mm. TIP: Extrude 1 ½”, let the very end touch down on your piece, then twist the syringe to produce twisted square wire!!
